Daylight robbery - almost..

There was plenty in the game yesterday to talk about, so in breaking it down let's look at why I think we won yesterday.

Andrey Arshavin - the architect of so many good things yesterday. He scored an excellent goal and always looked dangerous. He was on fire yesterday and combined well with Nasri, Rosicky and Chamakh.

Tomas Rosicky, the little Mozart was pulling the strings and as Captain for the day put in a great shift. He setup Chamakh beautifully and though he tired towards the end, he fully justified his inclusion.

Marouane Chamakh our spiky, effervescent striker had another storming game yesterday. His hold up play was excellent and he took his chances well only to be denied by Friedel on many occasions but he buried his goal and set up little Jack for a easy header into an empty net.

As a team performance it was good. We made it hard for ourselves but finished well. Bring on Wigan!
